The western dance which is also called as the country dance encompasses several forms like the Salsa, freestyle, two-step, waltz etc. each of these dance styles needs focused teaching of technique.

Our team of teachers pays special heed to the understanding of the type of dance, its basic steps and its style so that once learnt, you can innovate with the dance forms and merge them to create performances luring eyes.

The School Of Western Dance was founded in Gurugram in 1996 with just four students. Classes are held under the direction of its founder Mr Vinit Kumar who is both Registered Teachers of the Royal Academy of Dance. The primary focus of the school is to train students in Western dance which is taught through the syllabus of the Royal Academy of Dance. The style of dancing in earlier Bollywood films was based on Indian Classical Dance or Folk Dances from various parts of India.

Importance of Dance and Bollywood Dance. Dance is said to be one of the most immediate and wonderful accessible of art because it gives good exercise to your body and you can feel amazing. It gives you some fresh energy by both physically and mentally even sometimes emotionally too.  Bollywood is also known for its music. The Bollywood dance style is a multicultural blend of styles that fuses various elements of Indian and Western dance to produce high energy moves. Foundation of it is a fusion of Indian classical dances like Kathak and Bharatanatyam together with Indian folk dance bhangra. Further, it had a concoction of western dance influences like jazz and pop, thereby making Bollywood dance a rich style. Having become a major world trend, Bollywood dance styles are based on complex musical sequences.
