The singer who sings with suitable grace , feelings and language , can be successful in winning the heart of his or her audience. That is why, Indian scholars have described about qualities and faults very beautifully.
The singer who presents his voice by paying attention to those rules, his or her beauty of singing settles down in front of audience very quickly , against which singers seem who knowingly or unknowingly force themselves to pay attention to these rules. As a result their singing creates an atmosphere of humor than beauty in front of the audience. There are many kinds of listeners in the audience , if one listener pays attention to the rhyme of the song , other observes the melody and rhythm of the singer and some pay attention to the gestures and appearance of the singer. In this way different types of listeners, from all parts of music and art want to taste their own taste in the singer’s voice. In such a situation it is important to see that the qualities and weaknesses of a singer in making successful or distortion among the audience. Therefore every music student should pay attention from the beginning to adopt the qualities of a singer and avoid distortions because it is said that , One of the first habits cannot be broken so easily. If a student gets a habit of throwing hand or twisting mouth or get used of showing their teeths , it’s very difficult to get rid of it and as a result, he will not be able to get the respect and success in his life. Targeting musicians , scholars have rightly said about the status of singers that shouting or by showing inappropriate gestures only creates an atmosphere of humor amongst audiences.

- Ablity to express raagas withouts practicing in varnaas.
- One who knows the rules of ‘graha‘ and ‘nyaas‘
- Who knows the language and raagas well.
- Who is proficient in management.
- Who is aware of elements of different latencies.
- Who can use ‘Gamak‘ in all octaves i.e lower , middle and higher octaves.
- Whose throat is free to rotate the way his singing requires.
- Who takes of ‘taal‘ and sings wirh focus and concentration.
- One who wins the labor i.e for whom singing doesnt happen with alot of hard-work.
- The one who is aware the silence prevailing elements in raagas where pure , shallow and narrow-minded aliments.
- One who explores and narrates musical sculptures, who uses and knows six types of ‘kakoos‘.
- One who has knowledge of singing i.e who sings innumerable means of raagas.
- One who is devoid of kinds of faults.
- One who is proficient in practice i.e who is a ‘riyaazi’.
- who is very rhythmic, whose singing a listener cant avoid
- one who is confident and is ‘nirjavan’ at the same time should have a serious voice like a thundering cloud.
